Prayer Ministries

Janet Page, Prayer Ministries Coordinator
Janet Page and her husband Jerry joined the Central California Conference in 1995, and Janet began working with women’s ministries about a year later.
As Prayer Ministries Coordinator, Janet simply prays and asks God to reveal the power of praying together. That prayer has led to amazing things as God has shown his power in transformed lives, renewed commitment to prayer, and the exponential growth of the evangelism offering.
Janet plans prayer conferences for teens and adults, leads numerous prayer groups, provides prayer ministry training and resources, and travels extensively with Jerry, speaking all over the country and abroad about the incredible power of prayer. “When people spend time alone with God, and then come together and pray, power is unleashed,” says Janet.
Over the years she has seen conversions, the restoration of marriages, physical, emotional and spiritual healing, and changed lives. She says, “It’s a real privilege to work with God in this area.”
“I love seeing God make Himself real in people’s lives through prayer,” she says. “And I love seeing people get into a living experience with God. I’ve been blessed to see that happen a lot through the years.”
Janet and Jerry have two married sons: Zachary, who is married to Leah, and Tyson, who is married to Shenalyn and is the father of Daniel. Janet’s favorite hobby is visiting and playing with Daniel, and she also enjoys backpacking, reading the Bible, walking, and discovering the ever-unfolding personality of God.
One of her favorite scriptures is Zephaniah 3:17 - "The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."
Dear God: Help me drink in the radical "wine" of Jesus' words till I am drunk with his power and joy! Then, help me be a blessing to each one I meet. |
Dear God: Character is determined by all the little things and experiences of life. Please help us to be more attentive to and concerned with the little things in life. |
Dear God: I am eager to live my life for the purpose for which You created me. Today I read "live a life worthy of your calling." |
Dear God: How insightful is Proverbs 29:23, "A person's pride will bring them low..." Pride is something we all struggle with--yes, even Christians. |
